Subj: RE: Super Bowl Party at Hard Rock

Dear Things to do Coordinators,
I would like to point out some tricky wording on your promotion of the Super Bowl of Super Bowl Parties at the Hard Rock Cafe last week. The description on the website specifically said free beer and rail drinks before 7:00 PM. I should have known that, like the Easter Bunny and leprechauns, the deal was too good to be true. However, it should have been made clear that each ticket holder would only receive one drink. This information could have even been provided on the confirmation email if the aim was to attract more ticket buyers. I know that we weren't the only group to make that mistake and the staff at the Hard Rock Cafe got the bulk of the complaints.
Don't get me wrong, you put on some fun events in DC, but you shouldn't have to resort to tricky advertising to entice people to attend. I hope this feedback is helpful for your next event.
Best,
Phoebe "all-you-can-drink" Lee
